As Operational Leads for RCBCWales we have a long-standing commitment of working with our partners to develop clinical academic careers. We provide bespoke research capacity building opportunities and support for evolving professional groups to develop their research skills, leadership skills and networking within Wales, Europe and beyond.
We have had the pleasure of appointing over 100 RCBCWales Fellows to a variety of different research schemes. We are delighted to share so many of our success stories and illustrate the far-reaching impact of RCBC research projects. We provide a programme of work to address Welsh Government priorities and contribute to the evidence base required for NHS Wales. The opportunity for health professionals to have dedicated research time offered by RCBCWales is fundamental to fast-track our future research leaders. Support from employers to undertake these fellowships is also key and we thank them for their commitment and support to RCBCWales. The importance of these awards are to create an environment for learning, collaboration and to conduct research that will have an impact on clinical practice. We continue to develop the established success of RCBCWales to modernise professional academic careers in healthcare.
